Our giant serve 17 bags of soup mix are an economical way of getting lots of great tasting soup. No matter how many you are feeding - the easiest way to use them is to prepare the entire bag - and freeze the left-overs for other meals.
But if you wish to make only four 8 oz bowls of soup at a time - then here's how to use our big bags to do the job!
»Step 1: Pour contents of bag into a food storage container and mix well »Step 2: Measure the desired amount of soup mix into the pot (see below) »Step 3: For soups requiring milk, make a paste out of the mix and 1 cup of milk. For all other soups - make the paste out of mix and 1 cup of water. »Step 4: Add 3 cups of boiling (hot) water to the paste. Mix Well, bring back to a boil. »Step 5: Simmer until vegetables are tender (aobut 15 to 20 minutes) »Step 6: Don't forget to stir from time to time.
