Sopa de Blanco Diablo
(White Devil Soup)


This white soup looks very festive with the green pieces of jalapeno peppers and red pieces of chili, and packs a wonderful wallop. The spicy flavor hits you immediately, and will quickly have you asking for seconds. Based on our Outrageously Good Creamy Potato Soup, it's quick and easy too!
*Butter or oil 1 Tbsp
*Garlic Cloves crushed 3 cloves
*Shredded Jalapeno-flavored Cheese Monterey Jack or Havarti 1/4 cup
*Crushed Chili 1/2 Tbsp (use less if desired)
*Water 32 fl oz.

-In a large pot, stir together Outrageously Good Creamy Potato Soup mix and water. Bring to boil, simmer 15 minutes.
-In a heavy pan, heat butter or oil over medium heat, saute garlic until trnslucent but not browned, about 3 minutes. Transfer to soup.
-Add the cheese and crushed chili to soup. Allow to simmer till the cheese is melted.
